About the meeting with the Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria

On August 10, as part of efforts to develop the educational cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representatives of the Embassy held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University Professor Olufemi Peters.

The National Open University is the largest higher educational establishment of the country which has branches in all the 36 states. In total, it prepares more than fifty thousand students.

The parties discussed the possibility of intensifying inter-university cooperation and creating joint higher education programmes for Nigerian citizens.
