Ambassador met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

On May 6, 2025, Viacheslau Bryl, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, held a meeting with Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar expressed gratitude to Ambassador V. Bryl for his active work on the development of bilateral relations and noted that the efforts of the Ambassador of Belarus contributed to strengthening contacts between the two countries in achieving results in key areas of cooperation.

In turn, Ambassador V. Bryl thanked the Nigerian side for the high appreciation of his work and for the support provided to him throughout his diplomatic career, and expressed hope for further deepening of bilateral cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed promising Belarusian-Nigerian projects, emphasizing their mutually beneficial nature. Both diplomats confirmed their commitment to the implementation of the agreements reached and noted the significant potential for further expansion of cooperation between Belarus and Nigeria.

Concluding the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that friendly relations between the two countries will continue to develop, opening up new opportunities for mutual initiatives.
