Ambassador V.Bril met the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

On April 21, 2022 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Nigeria V.Bril met the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Zubairu Dada.

The parties discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The Nigerian side supported the proposal to establish an Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic cooperation and sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation.

The Nigerian side also confirmed its readiness to continue working to improve the legal framework of bilateral relations. The Belarusian side will be provided with proposals on a number of agreements on cooperation in the field of investments and justice.

The Minister of State expressed support for the efforts of the Republic of Belarus to resolve regional conflicts and establish partnership relations on an equal and mutually beneficial basis.

Ambassador V.Bril confirmed the readiness of the Republic of Belarus to receive a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to conduct the 3rd round of political consultations.
